When we talk about “sustainability” at the AeroVisto Group, we think of much more than just the ecological aspect of our actions as an internationally operating company.
By sustainability, we mean a holistic concept that ensures the future viability of our company and the personal development of our valued employees.
Amina Muratoski is a wonderful example of this. At the age of 15, she started an apprenticeship as a Commercial Employee at AeroVisto. And 6 years later, we were delighted to congratulate her on passing her Quality Manager exam. Amina – and we as a company – can be justifiably proud of this development.
“Amina has been an employee we could count on from the very beginning. She was always happy to support us and the entire team. We never heard her say that something we asked her to do was not part of her job. We quickly recognized her potential and were happy to support her”, says Hermann Bauer, CEO of the AeroVisto Group. Amina was happy to make good use of this. Thanks to her excellent training and in-depth understanding of the individual departments and their processes, Amina was very quickly able to introduce new employees to the company. Since 2022, she has had the approval to supervise new trainees.
What drove Amina was the personal conviction that her personal, professional development only began with her vocational training. “I didn’t learn my profession to then do the same thing all the time, or even clean coffee machines” says Amina with a chuckle. “I wanted to develop and take responsibility. A company like AeroVisto was the best thing that could have happened to me. Here I was quickly given the confidence that I could do more. And that’s what I wanted.”
Carsten Matthiesen explains: “The AeroVisto Group is growing constantly. This creates new tasks and responsibilities that we need to fill meaningfully. That’s why an important part of our sustainability strategy is to develop our employees in their strengths and thus enable them to take on important new positions.”
“In a business, you have to have patience and be open to new possibilities because things sometimes develop in a surprising way. Did I always intend to be a quality manager? No, I didn’t. But when I was invited to do it, I was very happy – because it was the natural development of my career so far. I knew I could take on responsibility here in an area where I could already show that I could deliver.” Amina tells us.
After three intensive months of training and a challenging exam, Amina Muratoski is now certified as a Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) / Safety Manager (SM) EASA Part-145 and Part 21 G. Congratulations Amina! With her, AeroVisto has a valued employee who will actively support us in the further sustainable development of our company.
“Regardless of what culture you come from, never be discouraged from wanting to do more. Look for areas and topics where you feel comfortable and can contribute, and continue to develop. And look for an employer, like AeroVisto, that values and encourages your commitment.” That’s what Amina wants young people to take away.
