Last week we had the great pleasure of working with SWISS on a special event for an exceptional family: The Duvergé family was invited to tour the SWISS aircraft hangars.
As described in detail in the SWISS magazine, this was an extraordinary moment for Jamie, the 18-year-old son of the family. Jamie, a big aviation fan, suffers from a rare muscle disorder — Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) — associated with progressive muscle wasting. Due to his condition, Jamie can’t fly. All the greater was his joy and excitement at the tour of one of SWISS’s large aircraft.
We are pleased that we could do our part to make this exceptional family happy — as a little recognition for what they accomplish day by day, without losing their joy in life. We thank SWISS and the Sternentaler organization for making these special moments possible.
Here are some impressions of that day in a short clip.
Well, for us at AeroVisto, aviation is never just about planes and machines. It is about the many people who use them — and their very personal stories.
