This business jet belongs to the fleet of Toyo Aviation, based in Bucharest/Romania – a company that offers charter and aircraft management, but also provides camo services. After Toyo Aviation took over this Legacy 600, it was decided to make the aircraft fit for the planned charter operations. This included refurbishing the interior.
3 years ago, we already refurbished the interior of a Cessna Citation XLS for Toyo Aviation. And after they were very satisfied with the result, they again chose AeroVisto for this refurbishment project. But to be able to convince this customer of our performance this time as well, we first had to accomplish a lot before signing the contract.
To start the negotiations, we were asked to come to Romania at short notice. The design and sample selection should take place directly on site. So, our CEO Carsten Matthiesen – with 30kg excess baggage of material samples – set off for Bucharest. But before that, we had to fulfill another requirement: The owner of the aircraft, wanted a “live rendering” during the interior design discussions. He wanted to see immediately how the choice of colors and materials would affect the look of the interior. Only if we could provide that we were allowed to come to the meeting. This was a tricky requirement to meet, but fortunately we have a network of professional partners to help us with such challenges. And Helmut Harringer was the man of the hour in this case!
This cabin is now really a “Beauty in Gray” – with a cool yet very inviting style.
„Decor Film Applications are the perfect material for charter aircraft. It’s super easy to clean and maintain, and it really makes a visual impact. I can definitely imagine using this option on other interiors as well.“
