Aviation Plaza:
New Framework for Coordinated Business Aviation Services Launches at St. Gallen-Altenrhein

Altenrhein, Switzerland — February 12, 2026

Aviation Plaza launches today with the go-live of www.aviation-plaza.com, introducing a new framework that gives coordinated excellence in business aviation a visible profile and platform for aircraft owners and operators. At St. Gallen-Altenrhein Airport, three independent specialists — Altenrhein Aviation (AAL) for MRO, AeroVisto for interior refurbishment, and Egli Paint for aircraft finishing — have established working relationships over years of collaboration. Aviation Plaza now gives this proven coordination a defined framework, a shared quality commitment, and a platform that communicates their combined capabilities to the market.

Aviation Plaza is not a merger or joint venture. Each specialist maintains full operational independence and business identity. What the framework adds is systematic coordination: integrated project planning, direct communication between technical teams, and shared accountability for project outcomes. Owners and operators of business and private aircraft can consolidate complementary services into a single downtime period, with specialists coordinating schedules and technical requirements among themselves.

The Aviation Plaza framework concept was initially developed by Hermann Bauer, Managing Director of AeroVisto Group, and Natascha Rode, Managing Director of AAL AG & Egli Paint GmbH, together with Business & Go-to-Market Strategist Martin Waletzko, Managing Director of WEYOU, which operates the aviation-plaza.com platform and drives the Aviation Plaza concept further.

The concept rests on four pillars: Operational Excellence Standards, a Professional Collaboration Framework, an Owner-Centric Mindset, and Shared Accountability. Participation is selective — specialists join Aviation Plaza because they meet defined excellence criteria and commit to its coordination standards. The platform gives each location’s specialist capabilities a professional stage — reaching the relevant audience across business aviation.

“We built Aviation Plaza around one principle: the client’s experience should match the quality of the technical work. Owners shouldn’t have to manage three separate projects when their aircraft needs comprehensive attention. At Aviation Plaza, they schedule once, stay informed, and receive their aircraft back on a coordinated timeline,” said Hermann Bauer, Managing Director of AeroVisto Group.

First Location:
The Swiss Aviation Plaza Altenrhein

The first Aviation Plaza is already operational. At St. Gallen-Altenrhein Airport, the three specialists provide coordinated line and base maintenance, interior refurbishment, and paint services for Gulfstream G150, G200, and G280; Embraer Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Legacy 450, Legacy 500, Praetor 500, and Praetor 600; Cessna CJ1, CJ2, CJ3, and XLS; Pilatus PC-12 series; and Daher TBM 700, 850, and 900 series.

AAL AG holds comprehensive EASA Part-145 approval alongside FAA, UK CAA, and further international certifications, and was the first European MRO authorized for Gulfstream G280 maintenance. AeroVisto carries both EASA Part 145 and Part 21G approvals and is one of five European companies authorized by Collins Aerospace as an Upholstery Completion Center for 16G seats. Egli Paint operates from a state-of-the-art paint hangar opened in 2023, delivering complete refinishing, custom liveries, and protective coatings.

“What makes Aviation Plaza different from simply sharing an airport is how we plan together. When I know the maintenance schedule and the interior completion date before we start surface preparation, the result is a better finish delivered in less time. That level of coordination doesn’t happen by accident — it happens because we’ve committed to it,” said Natascha Rode, Managing Director of AAL AG & Egli Paint GmbH.

The Aviation Plaza Treatment

For aircraft owners, Aviation Plaza delivers what the framework calls “The Aviation Plaza Treatment”: when an aircraft needs attention, a single service visit becomes comprehensive renewal. Specialists coordinate among themselves — owners stay informed without managing daily coordination between service domains. Return-to-service dates reflect integrated planning across all disciplines, providing timelines owners can actually plan around. For operators and flight departments, Aviation Plaza reduces coordination burden: specialists have already coordinated their planning before presenting project quotes, and technical issues get resolved directly between teams rather than through the operator.

The Altenrhein Experience

St. Gallen-Altenrhein Airport sits at the intersection of three countries — Switzerland, Germany, and Austria — with Lake Constance defining this unique geographic position. Aviation Plaza Altenrhein has established partnerships with regional service providers to complement the technical offering: from premium hospitality and Alpine wellness to cultural and leisure experiences across the tri-border region. For clients whose service projects require on-site presence, the Swiss Aviation Plaza Altenrhein ensures that time spent is not limited to the hangar.

“Aircraft owners considering coordinated services want to know how it works in practice — not in theory. That is why we will be documenting real projects from Aviation Plaza Altenrhein: how specialists collaborate across disciplines, how timelines come together, and what the results look like. These insights help owners and operators make informed decisions — and they give the specialists the recognition their coordinated work deserves,” said Martin Waletzko, Managing Director of WEYOU GmbH.
